Assessment

A full Biokinetics assessment consists of a full history taking of the client, from previous injuries to the current injury or concern. Once a detailed history is taken the client will then go through a postural and Biomechanical assessment, which involves standing up and the performing certain movements. The next part of the assessment involves palpating certain areas of concern, where the injury site is. Depending on the type of injury there can also be special tests done which is used to determine if there are any underlying injuries or any major injuries that might need to be sent to other health practitioners.
